Welcome Giulia Tess! — The Pool Artists

The Pool are thrilled to annouce the Italy-born London-based DJ and producer Giulia Tess is joining the roster.

Giulia pulls the sonority of leftfield electronica into percussive music in a refreshing and effortless way. Her musical range is wide and eclectic blending electronica, techno and leftfield house with her earlier influences including jungle, dancehall and Southern Italian music to create her own unique and versatile style. Well known in the UK underground scene, Giulia weaves together these influences creating sets that embody that raw club energy.

Giulia has played at iconic venues and festivals such as Fabric, Phonox, Drumsheds, Hi Ibiza, Renate and Lost Village. She has recently developed a live show, reworking her favourite tracks from her back catalogue to highlight the intricate moments of sound design within her music and complex drum tracks.

Her most recent release, Lose Control, a collaboration with Lawrence Hart, has received widespread support from the likes of Pete Tong and Sarah Story on BBC Radio 1, Mixmag and Spotify. Previous releases on Scarlet Tiger, Clasico, Mesh and HESHETHEY showcase her emotionally driven and bass heavy sound.
