We Welcome Hifi Sean to the Roster

The Pool are delighted to welcome the legendary Hifi Sean into the Pool family.

We first came across Sean during the Pandemic when he dropped a re-work of Fire Island’s ‘Shout To The Top’ (a cover of The Style Council by Terry Farley and Pete Heller, originally out on Junior Boys Own in 1998). Featuring the one and only Loletta Holloway on vocals, it was a healing record for mad times. After discussing with Sean the work that went into that project our jaw dropped.

Further to this we went on to learn via one of the most influential female industry players on the planet, that he was an A-grade dance-floor weapons supplier and in need of some booking support. After a deep dive and chats about everything from having a worldwide hit with a cover of the Stones in the 90’s as The Soup Dragons, to doing a duet with Prince at his place, via his love of Sly and the Family Stone and his dogs. The foundations were set for him joining the Pool family. To say he rocks the party is an understatement.
