Faze Action
Faze Action are one of the UK’s most respected live bands to emerge from the dance music scene, blending disco, jazz-funk, Afro-Latin rhythms, Balearic grooves and soulful songwriting into a rich, musicianship-led live experience.
Following the release of their acclaimed new album Distant Dreams, Faze Action have been reimagined as a dynamic nine-piece live band, featuring an exceptional group of musicians including legendary drummer and vocalist Zeke Manyika and keyboard player Pete Z. With live vocals, horns and percussion at the heart of the show, their recent London performances have been met with an outstanding response, reaffirming the band’s reputation for delivering uplifting, immersive and deeply musical live shows.
Formed by brothers Simon and Robin Lee, Faze Action originally emerged in the late 1990s with classics such as In the Trees and Kariba, building a devoted international following while continually evolving their sound. Their music effortlessly bridges live musicianship and dance floor culture, making them equally at home on festival stages, in concert venues and at specialist music events.
Alongside Faze Action Live, Simon Lee is also available for DJ bookings, drawing on decades of dance floor experience and a deep musical knowledge spanning disco, Balearic, Afro-Latin, house and more.
